LTC Provider University (LTCPU)
LTCPU was established by Associated Long Term Care Insurance Company (ALTC) and Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services to support senior living providers in their quest to deliver quality health care services to their residents. This website provides access to resources to improve business operations, improve quality of care and new ways to manage risk.  We invite you to learn more about our companies and how we are changing the risk management culture in the Senior Living industry. Associated Long Term Care Insurance Company Inc. (ALTC)
ALTC was formed as a reinsurance company in 2000 to make available to Senior LIving Providers Professional and Commercial General Liability Insurance, as well as industry leading Risk Management and Claims Management Programs. ALTC is owned by Senior LIving Providers and the majority of its Board of Directors are Senior LIving Providers. These Directors provide invaluable senior living industry experience and knowledge that allows ALTC to address the insurance and risk management challenges of the senior living industry.  ALTC's focus has always been to provide an  in-depth and quality of care driven risk management program, a claims management program to vigorously defend non-meritorious claims, all with the intent to provide a quality insurance program at a more economical cost to its policyholders.  ALTC also takes a proactive role in the governmental and regulatory process in order to reduce wasteful litigation cost.

Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services is the North American retail property/casualty insurance brokerage division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher).  Since it was founded in 1927, Gallagher has been dedicated to excellence in service. Alliance for Long Term Care Quality Improvement (ALTCQI) 
ALTCQI was formed by Robinson-Adams, now Arthur J Gallagher,as a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide long-term care professionals with the training and education needed to improve the quality of care and quality of life for residents of long term care facilities.  This additional educational training helps reduce the liability exposures for the long term care industry. Arthur J Gallagher Company, has brought passion and specialization to the Senior Living Industry for more than a quarter of a century. Robinson Adams, now an Arthur J Gallagher Company, was also a founding member of the Risk Management Legal Defense Group (currently chaired by Kindred Health Care), a group of Long Term Care Providers established to network together to develop risk management and claim management ideas.
